27. Rolling Stones - ‘Some Girls’

1978’s ‘Some Girls’ is, like most Stones albums, a classic.  The title track, “Just My Imagination”, “Miss You”, and “Beast of Burden” - it reads like a who’s who of mid era Stones tracks.  Essential.

26. The Ship - London, England

The Ship, located in London’s Soho, is one of those unique pubs where you feel like home - even if home is several thousands of miles away.  Finished in lush red paint and dark wood, the interior looks like a traditional English pub whereas the staff and patrons are anything but.  The Clash and Iggy Pop co-mingle on the sound system with Rod Stewart and early Stones records.  An evening spent at the Ship is a good one.
